Whether a new rider or seasoned veteran, Calgary BMX Racing has the right package to get you on track! Please note that any persons 16 years of age or younger must be registered and accompanied by an adult (parent or legal guardian). Note: The registration process is out-dated for the 2015. Memberships are now purchased directly through the club. Only the Alberta Bicycle license must be purchased online.
A full Calgary BMX Racing Club membership which qualifies the rider for the Calgary BMX Racing year-end awards and participation in our coaching programs.
Recreational coaching is held every Wednesday 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. This class is open to all ages and levels and is less competitive. Competitive coaching sessions run every Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Please see District Racing & Coaching for more details. Please note that coaching runs through the entire racing season but is subject to weather/track conditions and the schedules may change with little notice.

In addition to a Calgary BMX membership, you will require a ABA membership/license to participate in BMX. If you plan to race in more than one class and be eligible for both 20" and CRUISER year-end awards at a provincial level, you will need to purchase an additional ABA membership ($35 for all ages). A UCI/CCA (race) license is required to join the Calgary BMX Racing Club and/or to participate in any District Points Racing conducted at other Alberta BMX Racing Clubs. BMX General licenses are adaquate to participate at a recreational level. Annual licenses are effective from January 1st to December 31st each calendar year and can be obtained or renewed directly from the Alberta Bicycle Association (ABA) via online registration.

NOTE Mid-Season upgrading from one ABA membership to another is available at any time and subject to applicable fees.
KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Through a confidential application process KidSport provide grants so they can play a season of sport.
