Come Race at Calgary BMX
BMX Racing is an exciting summer sport for the entire family to enjoy where every rider, regardless of skill level, participates and competes.
Race day registrations can be made at the track from 5:30– 6:30 PM, or online from 7 AM – 5 PM each day of racing. Arrive at the track no later than one hour before race time. Everyone must check-in at the registration window, located on the West side of the main building by 6:30 PM. Present your ABA licence (Calgary BMX members may race on a General membership) to confirm age category, rider class, and plate number. Sorry, late registrations will not be accepted – NO EXCEPTIONS. Racing begins at 7 PM.
Races are organized into male and female classes, and then subdivided into age groups and skill levels. The age groups range from the 5 & under classes to the 19 & older. Rider age is the riders’ age as of December 31 of the current year.
In order for race nights to run smoothly volunteers are required. A volunteer sheet will be posted on the message board. Please sign up. As well, listen to announcements for your chance to volunteer at the track. No experience is necessary and you will be given an outline of the volunteer duties.
All riding is weather dependent as the track is outdoors.
