It's only as GREAT as we can make it!

Simply put, our club could not exist year after year without drawing upon the support and talents of our wonderfully diverse membership. There are no paid positions or hired personnel at Calgary BMX Racing. Every aspect of the track upkeep and the successful execution of our racing events are 100% organized, managed and done through volunteer efforts.

Volunteer Agreement Program

A 20 hours volunteer comittment is asked of each of it's families ( not each rider). We ask that a $250 post dated volunter comittment check is submitted until hours are fulfilled.

As "many hands make light work",  help is always needed and greatly appreciated in many areas including:

Cooking/Barbecue

Concession Help

First Aid Attendants

Track Officiating

Staging

Finish Line

Track Maintenance

Work Party Volunteers

Events

Never be too shy to ask how you can help. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator directly or see any of the Calgary BMX Racing Executive Team, for detailed information on the variety of positions that must be fullfilled.

If you cannot volunteer during the season and would like to waive the volunteer comittment, you can do so by paying $350 upfront ( per family).

Please review the Volunteer Form ( volunteer committment will be agreed to during online registration) and submit a post-dated cheque to the registration office by July 1st of each racing season (or earlier) or membership will be suspended. The volunteer fee shall be returned to members upon completion of the volunteer commitment. Failure to fulfill the volunteer commitment shall result in forfeiture of the members volunteer fee.

Please see the Calgary BMX bylaws for complete details.
